Product Marketing Manager (m/w/d)

München, Remote
Full-time
Permanent employee

Your mission

As a Product Marketing Manager, you play a key role in shaping how Scompler is positioned as the leading SaaS platform for strategic communication. You own product positioning, go-to-market strategy, and product launches, with a direct impact on growth and adoption.

Scompler uniquely connects strategy, goals, messaging, channels, and teams in one platform. Our customers include major DAX-listed companies and well-known NGOs who rely on Scompler to make communication measurable and effective. In this role, you act as the central link between Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success, ensuring our innovations are clearly positioned and successfully launched.

  • You develop and drive go-to-market strategies for new products and applications – from positioning and messaging to launch execution.
  • You define target audiences, value propositions, and product narratives in close collaboration with Product Management, Strategic Communications, and Technical Writing.
  • You lead cross-functional launch teams and ensure alignment across all market-facing teams.
  • You translate complex product capabilities into clear, customer-centric stories that highlight value and differentiation.
  • You plan and execute product and launch campaigns together with Content Marketing – including landing pages, webinars, whitepapers, blog posts, videos, and newsletters.
  • You ensure consistent product communication across all marketing, sales, and customer touchpoints.
  • You create enablement materials for Sales and Customer Success (pitch decks, battle cards, FAQs, use case stories).
  • You analyze market, competitive, and product usage data and derive actionable recommendations for product, marketing, and go-to-market decisions.
  • You define and track launch KPIs (e.g. adoption, engagement, activation, win rates) and continuously optimize processes based on learnings.

Your profile

  • 3–5+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Go-to-Market, or similar roles in a B2B SaaS environment
  • Proven experience with product and feature launches in growth-oriented SaaS companies
  • Strong understanding of GTM strategies, lifecycle marketing, product-led growth, and enterprise sales cycles
  • Experience working closely with Product Management, Sales, and Customer Success
  • Ability to position complex products clearly, differentiating and convincingly
  • Hands-on mindset: you don’t just design strategies, you also execute campaigns and create content yourself
  • Analytical mindset with confidence in working with product, market, and usage data
  • Strong storytelling skills, excellent writing, presentation, and communication abilities
  • Confident presence and enthusiasm for presenting products publicly (e.g. in videos, webinars, events, or speaker slots)
  • Fluency in German and English
Beyond your skills, we’re excited about you as a person if you…
  • Think strategically while taking a hands-on, operational approach
  • Communicate clearly, openly, and constructively
  • Focus on impact, value, and solutions rather than just features
  • Give – and welcome – feedback to continuously improve together
  • Enjoy working across teams and actively breaking down silos
  • Are motivated to actively shape a product and its market impact
  • Take ownership and drive initiatives forward, even without formal people management responsibility

About us

Scompler has been a real success story since its inception in May 2018: We have been able to acquire more than 250 customers with 5 to 500 users, we have a total of around 25,000 registered users, and customers range from NGOs to global corporations, including six DAX companies. The best-known names include Merck, Deutsche Post DHL, ADAC, Commerzbank and AOK, as well as Fridays for Future, UNICEF and Johanniter. We particularly enjoy working with NGOs, and time and again we also support great companies on a pro bono basis. We are currently a team of about 50 people spread all over the world, in Germany we are about 20. We have just received seven million investment and want to take off.

We think ...
... there is hardly a more exciting company in Germany at the moment for all communications professionals who love strategic communications! We have a great, dedicated and international team, there are lots of opportunities to get involved, and there are lots of opportunities to grow and learn. Because we want nothing less than to change communication: Away from a purely technical process where it's all about reach and engagement, but about meaning and significance. We're constantly looking for ways to help companies create better content more easily together!

Want to be a part of it?
We need a whole lot of hands and minds. We want solid skills and abilities in all of the above areas, and we welcome new and creative approaches, too! If one of the following short descriptions appeals to you, please get in touch using the form below - and then let's talk!

Preferably from Munich, but equally well in the Frankfurt area or from the home office Our headquarters are in Munich. It would be ideal if you were from Munich. And we still have a shared office in Frankfurt, where the smaller part of our team is currently located. But if it's a good fit, it's no problem for us if you're based somewhere else in the world. Then we work together remotely, and you would only come to Munich once a month so that we can meet regularly in person.
